Since 1996, we have been documenting the workshops and performances of the breakdancers and rappers in Cape Town. Do For Self, African Battle Cry, African Hip Hop Indaba, Battle of the Year, Shut Up! Just Dance and B-boy Basics Volume 1. We have since also been able to do educational videos explaining the various facets in hip hop culture.

We see a great potential for local youth to work in the video production field if the opportunities and skills were to be made available to them. We need to tell our own stories in South Africa to truly heal our neighbourhoods. We have to challenge the Hollywood version of the world that we are being fed daily.

DVDs, music videos and documentaries can generate ongoing income for our communities throughout the world. In 2004 Emile released a DVD named Hip Hop How To Volume 1.
