Instead of complaining about others never telling our story, Emile wrote a book about hip
hops influence on his life and how he discovered his African identity through hip hop culture. The book also speaks of an alternative hip hop that counters the negative image pushed by the general media. It explains how hip hop can liberate your mind and help
you to find you true self.

During workshops and performances at schools, it was brought to our attention that our libraries are still stocked with other peoples’ stories and in order to change that, we have to write our own. R.A.P.S.S. was created to spark that need and is an ongoing compilation of authors/ writers works with the intention of releasing books for the artists who can stand on their own feet and get their stories out.
